I still see them as the most likely candidates to be cut, but I think they might get in if there is enough development time. Other than that, the only one I think the only characters who have a chance of being cut are Greninja, as he really isn’t as popular as his fellow pokemon reps (minus possibly Puff) Rosalina and Bowser Jr. Again just because they aren’t as iconic as the other Mario characters, but even than I don’t see them being to likely of getting cut the only time a unique, non clone or semi 1st party character was cut and it wasn’t for technical issues, was Mewtwo, which is why I believe he will likely come back next game, and is why I think all the newcomers in 4 (minus the clones and 3rd parties) are very likely to come back sorry for the long ramble.

His standard B move is a favorite among players. It causes the green dinosaur to shoot his tongue out at and enemy and engulf him as he did in previous video games, and then turn the character into an egg. Following this Yoshi can then beat up on the character until he pops out. One tactic used against new players is to stand at the edge of a stage and then gobble up an enemy and send him soaring down to his untimely death.

Getting hit by one will likely send you barrelling into others, either leaving you with a very high damage percentage or outright KO'd. The differences were removed in 3DS/Wii U, since it was changed to match Ness' new version of PK Starstorm. In Ultimate, Lucas' PK Starstorm has the meteors already spread out upon being summoned but converge towards the center (the opposite of Ness').

It even got upgraded with rockets and precision bearings.

If this was SSB4 Switch, then my roster would be the same as SSB4 Wii U/3DS plus all the cut characters. EDIT I want to thank for making this roster image based on my roster list. The Mii Fighter costume is a sign of that. -Impa: I feel she deserves a spot, being a recurrent ally in the series. She could also be interesting by adding to her capabilities the Sheika Slate Powers, since she is a Sheika. -New Fire Emblem: now listen to me, I'm keeping this post just in case the new protagonist from FE Switch is interesting moveset wise. If that isn't the case I would add another character entirely.

Hope y'all like it, 'cause the decisions on who to omit was a very hard one. Dixie Kong would be a semi-clone of Diddy. Most similar to Fox & Falco. Her moves with have opposite knockback directions as Diddy to keep her unique. Rool is added, we need more villains and super heavy weight characters.

If you don't remember which custom icons you added, you can always sort the files in the directory by date. (The last icon file added to the version 10.0 was: 'William B.J. Blazkowicz.png '). No more than 4 characters per franchise. Again, this kind of random limitation is not a realistic way of going about it, but doing so forces me to choose characters from new universes. I personally feel that Smash should strive to represent as many IPs as it can, as opposed to just adding onto what is already there. I played it fairly safe with the newcomers, adding who I feel are the bigger, more hype bringing characters to help detract from the large number of cuts.

There are enough swordsmen already. Wii Fit Trainer is removed (is an assist trophy that uses WFT smash ball move).

Inklings Confirmed Decidueye I try not to take too much stock in patterns but Decidueye would complete the Smash starter triangle with Gren and Zard and he's one of the more popular Pokemon from gen 7. Rex & Pyra/Mythra There is so much moveset potential here and since we don't have to worry about the 3DS I'm sure the Switch can handle having another character in the background.

Sakurai even mentions his 'evocative facial expressions' in a Miiverse post. •: King Dedede's main weapon is his massive hammer.

Playable in: Brawl, 3DS/Wii U, Ultimate Specials: Peanut Popgun, Monkey Flip,, Final Smash: ( Brawl, 3DS/Wii U), Hyper Rocketbarrel ( Ultimate) 's little buddy, and at one point (also ). Wherever DK goes, Diddy is sure to follow suit, lending his lightning-fast speed, small stature, and to the fray. Originally created for Donkey Kong Country by, Diddy was the sole playable character in Smash Bros. To not have been created by a Japanese company, until and joined the roster. •: Occurs briefly whenever Diddy Kong charges his Peanut Popgun attack for too long.

There's also the fact that I don't really know how to make an automatic updater for it, so it can be a bit of a pain having to constantly re-downloading it and with people needing to redo their rosters each time. But these are all things that I'm looking into. And of course, I wouldn't have been able to do all of the icons on my own, so I must give special thanks to anyone who contributed to making icons for the Roster Maker, even though some haven't made it in.
