I have a 1GB ATI GPU, a 8-core Phenom and 8GB of ram. Has anyone been able to solve the same sort of issue so far? One last detail: In my DLC page, I can see a list of the DLC I own for Sleeping Dogs, but the 'Texture Pack' is not included in the list. Thanks for the help. I have the EXACT same problem, and sent a support request using the contact form here (found through links from STEAM's support menu) But square enix refused to give any advice because I have a Mac. Even though I'm running Win7, because I use bootcamp on a Mac, I'm classified as 'unsupported hardware'. If you DO get an answer from them, let me know what they say.

Fudge this♥♥♥♥♥♥. Hi, I bought a Steam key of the North American version of Sleeping Dogs from Amazon U.S.
On top of all these technical improvements, you've also got the added bonus of almost all previously released DLC packs - that includes outfits, cars and extra story-extending content that amounts to over three hours of additional story gameplay.
Thing is, I've compared what I was seeing in the Market (1st mission) with HD screenshots on the net, and I'm pretty sure what I have is the lo-res textures. Try it and see if it changes anything for you. The answer I got from Square Enix was this: 'Thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX support, We apologize for the problems you are experiencing. However the Steam software is a third party client, which we do not provide support for.

That guy in the background spent quite awhile walking into the little raised bit. If you haven’t played Sleeping Dogs, then I have absolutely no problem in recommending Definitive Edition to you. Despite having a few flaws and issues, it offers improved controls, an interface and HUD resolution that’s more appropriate to PC, some graphical effects that I personally like (although they’ll almost certainly prove divisive), and proper integration of the DLC packs into gameplay. £20 for an improved Sleeping Dogs plus all of its DLC is a really good deal, not least because it’s such a fine game. If you already have Sleeping Dogs, things are a little trickier. If you have Sleeping Dogs in your Steam account then the price is halved, so Definitive Edition is only £10, but it’s really a question of whether or not you want to play Sleeping Dogs again any time soon and whether you think these improvements are worth £10. I think they are, but then that’s me – you might think that a few graphical changes and a few generalised improvements aren’t necessarily worth the asking price, and I can’t really blame you for that.
On the PC has some exclusive graphical bonuses – and not like stickers to slap on your rig, mind you. United Front Games' PC port will launch with a high-resolution texture pack for those crisp visuals, and support for multi-monitor displays. (But will it run on?) If you pre-order Sleeping Dogs through Steam ahead of its August 14 launch, you'll get 10 percent off the final asking price, bringing it down to $44.99. Finally, Square Enix has also released the minimum and recommended specs for Sleeping Dogs, which we've gone ahead and published below the break.

My problem is that under my account details, it shows I have 'Sleeping Dogs Digital Edition' but the HD Textures download as 'HD Pack JP' and I have a feeling there could be a problem between the Digital Edition I bought through an online retailer and the JP edition of the texture pack. Maybe the versions don't mix right? Hey, Yeah, I'm in Japan. My brother gifted me the Canadian version of the game through Steam.

Kozzy1234 Looks like it has ALOT more things to do then in Just Cause to though, the world looks alot more FULL so to speak. Hope it runs as well as Just Cause2:P I was just about to mention this, I hope they make this a really good job like Just Cause 2 is (i.e. Runs really smooth and looks fantastic, thus really using the extra hardware where appropriate). It will be interesting to see how this plays out, I will probably wait for reviews before deciding on this game. It sounds like it could be good but it also has potential to be problematic in the gameplay. [QUOTE='EliteM0nk3y'] The game looks great, except there seems to a lot of DLC for it (possibly), so I might hold off to see if there is a complete edition.
